EXHIBIT SPACE CONTRACT AND PAYMENT:
To apply for exhibit space, fill out
the show contract on the reverse side and mail with full payment to the address indicated. Assignment of space will be on
a first-come, first-paid basis. The Committee reserves the right to reject any application by refunding the amount paid.
COLLECTION COSTS:
Exhibitor agrees to pay attorney fees, collection
fees, court costs, and other expenses incurred in collecting any charges under this agreement, in enforcing the terms of this
contract.
ORGANIZATION OF DISPLAY:
Remember the Golden Rule when planning your space. Do not plan a display that will interfere with the spaces adjacent
to, behind or across from you.
Examples of display setups that are not allowed:
- Loud audio presentations of any type (TV, Tape, Machinery, etc).
- Any part of your display hanging over an adjoining space.
- Display which interferes
with an Exhibitor behind you.
- A display extending into the aisle way.
- A professional sign adds to your overall display. Signs which detract from the overall show image will not be allowed.
CLEANING:
Exhibitors are requested to use
the trash receptacles placed throughout the Dome Room. At the end of the day, please set any trash in one of the trash bins.
INSURANCE:
Exhibitors are advised to verify that their regular company
insurance includes extra-territorial coverage, and that they have their own theft, public liability and property damage insurance.
The Dearborn Women’s Expo Show, the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, the City of Dearborn, Arbonne International,
and their respective employees will not be responsible for injury or damage that may occur to an exhibitor, his employees
and/or agent, nor to the safety of an exhibit or other property against robbery, fire, accident, or any other destructive
causes, prior, during or subsequent to the period covered by the exhibit contract. The Exhibitor signing the agreement expressly
releases the Dearborn Women’s Expo Show, the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, the City of Dearborn, Arbonne
International, and their respective employees from any and all claims for such loss, damage or injury. It is understood that
consignment of goods is entirely at the risk of the Exhibitor.
ELECTRICAL AND SPACE REQUIREMENTS:
One 8 foot table with tablecloth and 2 chairs
are included in the basics space prices. Electrical service can be purchased for an additional cost.
FLAMEPROOFING:
All materials and fluids that are flammable are to be
kept in safety containers. Open flames, butane gas, oxygen tanks, etc. are not permitted.
EARLY DEPARTURE:
Each Exhibitor must remain “open for business”
for the duration of the event. Breaking down gives a bad impression for the entire event and all exhibitors. Attendees expect
a “full house” of exhibitors when entering and paying an admission fee. Those exhibitors leaving early will not
be permitted to return to future events.
SUBLEASING
SPACE:
Subleasing space is expressly forbidden without the Committee’s prior approval.
This would also include displaying products, services, signs or literature of non-exhibiting, non-approved companies.
DISTRIBUTION OF LITERATURE/SOUVENIRS:
Advertising
pieces and souvenirs may be distributed by Exhibitors from their rented space only. Anything that would be objectionable to
other Exhibitors, Committee or show attendees may not be allowed at the Committee’s discretion. Very large items which
make noise, printed material which is objectionable or items which could cause injury will not be allowed.
PREMISE DAMAGE:
Exhibitors will be
responsible for any damage caused by their employees or agents to the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center. All property
so damaged or destroyed will be made whole at Exhibitor’s expense. No tacking, taping, nailing, stapling of signs or
displays into or onto permanent walls, floors, and/or display equipment will be permitted. The Committee will be available
to help you determine methods of erection or dismantling that will avoid damage.
SHOW CANCELLATION:
Should any contingency force cancellation of the
Show, such as fire, acts of nature, or any other cause, the Committee may retain such part of Exhibitor’s rental as
shall be required to recompense it and the Show sponsors for expenses incurred up to the time such contingency occurred. The
Exhibitor waives all claims for damages or recovery of payment made except the return of the pro-rated amount paid for exhibit
space less expenses incurred by the Committee.
REPRESENTATIONS:
All exhibitors will be required to honor any and all representations, discounts, coupons or other promotional promises
they make. The Committee will not be responsible for the failure of the exhibitors to honor these commitments.
